It’s summertime, and that means more dogs in more places throughout the Metro area. With more dogs around, it’s a good idea to revisit how to safely interact, especially for children. This can help prevent dog bites and the potentially fatal complications that may accompany them.

- Not approaching unfamiliar dogs
- Never reaching out towards or touching a dog without asking
- Not running away from or making loud noises around a dog
